CAPSA completes the merger by absorption of the company Yogures Andaluces, S.A., and begins manufacturing its products to supply the Southern market through its Seville factory.

CAPSA MERGES WITH LARSA AND ATO

Within its consolidation process, Corporación Alimentaria Peñasanta, S.A. carried out the merger by absorption of the companies Lacto Agrícola Rodríguez, S.A. (LARSA) and Celbasa Ato, S.A. (ATO), with which it acquired a significant presence in the Catalonia and Galicia territories, adding the ATO and LARSA brands to the Central Lechera Asturiana brand.

CLAS HANDS ITS INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY BRANCHES OVER TO CAPSA

Central Lechera Asturiana SAT hands over its industrial dairy and commercial activity branch to Corporación Alimentaria Peñasanta, S.A. CAPSA begins to take form, manufacturing products which up until this time had been manufactured by Sociedad Agraria de Transformación.

CORPORATION FOUNDED

Central Lechera Asturiana SAT Nº 471, Sole Proprietorship, incorporated on 23 May 1984 under the name Distribuidora Murciana de Lácteos, S.L., having agreed on 10 January 1992 to increase the entity’s capital, move its registered address to Asturias, change its name to “Lácteos Gijón” and convert it into a public limited company. It can be said that this was the starting point of the current Peñasanta Food Corporation. Since then, its headquarters have been in Sierra de Granda, s/n, Siero, Asturias, registered in the Asturias Commercial Registry, Volume 1649, Folio 2, Page AS-9927.
